Multilateral partners

WHO works closely with multilateral organizations and high-level political forums to advance global health priorities and support coordinated action on shared challenges. Through engagement with forums and organizations such as the G20, G7, Commonwealth, Organisation internationale de la Francophonie (OIF), and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), WHO provides technical expertise, evidence-based guidance, and strategic support to inform policy discussions and strengthen health outcomes across regions and populations.

These partnerships enable WHO to contribute to high-level dialogue on issues that affect health and well-being, including health emergency preparedness and response, universal health coverage, health systems strengthening, antimicrobial resistance, noncommunicable diseases, and the health impacts of climate change. By working with multilateral partners, WHO helps promote policy coherence, foster collaboration across sectors, and facilitate the exchange of knowledge and good practices among Member States.
